Wow! It's been a week already!!!

Well another week has come and gone, they days just seem to be passing me by. David is in preschool fulltime this year and it comes complete with school projects and even homework!!! Yes, I said homework. He usually has a nightly assignment to go along with what they are learning each week. Tomorrow will be the start of the letter of the week being "D". Each week they move up a letter in the alphabet and it is so exciting for the kids to learn the words that start with that letter. David is loving school and even wants to attend on the weekends! His favorite day is friday since they have show and tell day. This week David took a cucumber from Papa's garden and a batch of homade cookies for the entire class! He hasn't yet mastered the element of suprise though since he always bursts out what he has brought as soon as he walks in the door. LOL!!! I am very impressed with his teacher and the level of there learning also. This week they will be foucusing on spelling there names, numbers 1-50, all 7 continents and the languages they speak, and also the pledge of alligence that these amazing for year olds are memorizing! I do not remember knowing so much at such a young age and I am truly blown away.
I am continuing to remain stable...health wise : ) which for me is a miricle. I know tht this could change at anytime, but I am keeping my fingers crossed and living each day to the fullest just in case. I actually went for my first long walk this week in an entire year! I am not sure if it was the brightest decision since I have been suffering from shin splints ever since, but it sure felt good to be active again = )
Dad lft this morning for San Diego. He will be teaching a class monday through thursday and visiting with my Mom and sister on his down time. This has been the first trip of his that I am well enough to keep David on my own so I feel very blessed to be able to do so...hopefully it will all run smoothly.
Last but not least, David and I attended a new church today with my dear friend Melissa. I have to say it was amazing. The church itself was beautiful, the people were friendly, the sermon was powerful and the worship just blew me away. I have to say I think we found our home church and I look forward to attending next week! I want to apologize for not posting any new pictures lately...I lost my USB cord, but when I find it there will be an abundance of pictures, I promise!!!! Take care everyone and have a great week!
